The Digital Environments Research Team (affiliated with Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Brisbane, Australia) welcomes contributions from organizations or individuals engaged in studying Digital Devices and Social Technologies (Web 2.0). Our aims include:
- To shape and report the field of Digital and Social Technologies
- To grow a credible, active, online community in Digital Environments and Social Technologies
- To create high impact Social Technology (Web 2.0) consultants
- To engage partners to collaborate in the Social Technology field
As Academics we perform Doctoral level research into societal and organizational use of Digital Devices and Social Technologies in various contexts. In addition, we teach masters level courses aimed at producing change consultants who can assist organizations with the setup and successful adoption of Digital devices and Social Technologies for business needs. We provide consultation to industry and government interested in harnessing Digital and Social Technology to enhance collaborative knowledge management or engage new markets.
